Norman Weber
Chief Executive Officer
Norman Weber was educated at the former Seychelles College during the years 1960 to 1974. He is a UK Chartered Certified Accountant and holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics. He served in the Seychelles public service for 21 years as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Finance and as Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles in 2001 before moving on to the challenges of private enterprise. He qualified as a PADI open water scuba instructor in 1991 and with his wife Josette, a more accomplished NAUI and PADI scuba Instructor, set up and operated scuba diving schools and resorts on Mahé, La Digue, Desroches and Alphonse in the mid-1990s. S2005 and returned to Seychelles in 2017. He has come out of retirement to manage ICS and see more of our unique island ecosystems.
Keni joined ICS in 2017 as the Head of Finance and Administration. She formerly worked in the hospitality industry. She also has experience as an auditor, acquiring knowledge useful in her current role at ICS. She oversees all areas of finance and administration including payroll, accounts payable and receivables, inventory, banking and reconciliations. She enjoys solving financial and administrative matters, providing timely and relevant information and most importantly working in a team of dynamic professionals who has the company’s best interest at heart.
During her spare time she loves to read fiction books (mostly thriller novels), watching detective movies and comedies. She has a very bubbly character and enjoys spending her time with her beautiful tabby cat named Tiger and her dog, Cyprus. She finds spending time outdoors, especially fulfilling. |
Ian joined ICS in January 2021 as an Operations Officer until recently when he became the Inventory and Stock Controller. His role is to oversee the inventory management processes, maintain the stock level of products, equipment and other materials at the Head Office and across islands. Ian first worked as a Seychelles Police Force Corporal in 2008-2009 and SCAA Aviation Security Officer (Cargo Division) between the years 2009 to 2013 when realised that his greatest passion lies in the field of environment. He then applied to work with IDC as an Island Assistant island Manager on Coétivy Island and Desroches Island and as an Island Manager on Platte Island and Assumption Island. Ian spent some good four years barefooted on the islands, surrounded by the exotic flora and fauna of our archipelago, where Ian says he developed an understanding of the creed of the conservation of our endemic species, Ian joined the Island Conservation Society as Inventory Officer and Aride Island Relief Manager at the start of the year 2021.
Ian enjoys snorkeling and diving around the mesmerising sites of the islands, of which he claims always takes his breath away every time. |
Sharon Meriton-JeanPR & CommunicationsA familiar face (and voice!) on the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) where she was a part-time news reader and anchor of the children's television program – ‘Konekte.zenn’. Sharon Meriton-Jean joined ICS as the Public Relations & Communication Manager in June 2022. She has over 13 years working with SBC, making her mark as the first Praslinoise and journalist to manage a news outstation in Seychelles. As a Praslinoise, she is an avid island hopper and has worked on documentaries, articles, and features on various inner and outer islands of Seychelles. Since 2008, she has been an active volunteer of the Terrestrial Restoration Action Society of Seychelles (TRASS), a not-for-profit organisation, rehabilitating the eroded mountainside of Praslin for the past 12 years. With a Diploma in Management obtained from the Seychelles Institute of Management (SIM), she has spearheaded many environmental projects and portfolios, including the voluntary post of Environment Commissioner in the Citizens Engagement Platform of Seychelles (CEPS) in 2017. Aside from her passion for the terrestrial aspect of the environment, Sharon holds an open water diving license and during her spare time, she likes to spend time with her two sons exploring the waters of Seychelles.

Marie-Anette AlcindorHR CoordinatorMarie- Anette is counting 27 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and Administrator in several Government, Parastatal and Private companies and agencies. During her career she has completed several management courses at the Seychelles Institute of Management including Business Communication. She has also completed Human Resource and Management Courses with the Institute of Capacity Development in Pretoria – South Africa as well as with RH Institute of Professional Development in Sri-Lanka. Marie- Annette is well experienced in Labour Law Compliances, Productivity and Establishment Matters. Since joining ICS in April 2021 she is more conscious of the fragility of the natural environment. Her favourite island of the archipelago is Aride Island Special Reserve. She describes the island as ‘The Jewel of the Seychelles’.

Rahim HypolitePurchasing and Administration Support OfficerRahim joined ICS in May 2013 as a Purchasing Officer at the Head office later becoming Purchasing and Administration Support Officer, responsible for procurement and other logistics activities. He completed several courses in store and inventory management and accounting and is currently completing additional study in business management. In addition to possessing considerable experience as a store keeper and purchasing officer at SPDF, UCPS and Dynamics, Rahim is also an Able Seaman (Coast Guard to be specific). Rahim’s experienced service culture, Can-Do Attitude and ready smile are his trademarks. His strong work ethic has helped him to achieve a number of successes in his career keeping in mind the needs of all key stakeholders. He has interests in photography, diving and nature exploration. His most unforgettable experience with ICS was to visit Cosmoledo, his favourite place in Seychelles.
